Stroganoff is SO GOOD! But also a lot of work. Not with this recipe!

Throw a pound or so of stew meat in the crock pot.

Throw in chopped onions.

Mix together golden mushroom soup, beef broth, onion soup mix and Worcestershire sauce.

Whisk together and pour over meat and onions.

Stir together and turn crockpot to low.

Let cook for 5-6 hours.

Add in cream cheese and sour cream and allow to melt…..stir in.

Cook and drain noodles and stir in desired amount.




Beef Stroganoff

A wonderfully easy recipe for delicious Stroganoff!

  • 1½-2 pounds lean beef, trimmed stew meat, round steak, chuck roast, petite sirloin
  • 2 cans Campbells Golden Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 14 ounce beef broth
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix *or ½ t onion powder, ½ t paprika, ½ t black pepper & ¼ t garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 16 ounces egg noodles **or rice


  • Cut meat into bite size pieces.
  • In 2 quart or larger crockpot, add meat and onions.
  • In small bowl, mix together Golden Mushroom soup, beef broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire Sauce and salt. Pour over meat and onions, stir together.
  • Cover with lid and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  • Add in cream cheese and sour cream and cover with lid for 2-5 minutes allowing cream cheese to melt. Stir together until creamy.
  • Serve over noodles or rice.
