So many of our family traditions began with me feeling desperate and needing to come of with a solution to a problem.
When it was time to decorate the tree, I needed to buy at least enough time to get the lights on.
I discovered that covering the table with goodies worked to keep the kids occupied and away from the tree for a bit.
It also made it AN OCCASION. An Event.
I like to do a charcuterie layout on the table.
Just lay some wax paper down the middle of the table and begin laying everything out.
Start with crackers and basics……
And then fill it all in!
And then get everyone decorating!
