Ingredients
1sheet puff pastry, thawed
Baking spray
1canapple pie filling
1egg
Turbinado sugar**Or any sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Use a rolling pin to roll out puff pastry until just slightly larger than muffin tin.
Spray each cup with cooking spray.Place second muffin tin on top and press down, forming indentations. Remove tin. **If you don't have a tin just use a small tumbler
Place a spoonful of pie filling into each cup, about ⅓ cup.
Use a pizza cutter on top of the tin to cut into squares.Bring each corner of the dough into the center and twist & pinch together to seal.
Whisk the egg in a small bowl with 2 tsp water. Brush each tart and sprinkle with the sugar.
Bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on a rack for 15 minutes. Use a table knife around the edges and lift out.
