**Slow Cooker Instructions - Do not cut up the beef. Leave the roast whole. In a large skillet on the stove, melt the butter. Season the roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Use a large meat fork or tongs to turn the roast till all sides are browned. Place the browned roast in the slow cooker. Place the rest of the ingredients over the beef. Onions through thyme. (Obviously not the buns and mayo etc.) Slow cook on High for 5 hours or on low for 8-10 hours. Resume with step 4 in the above instructions.
