Ingredients
1
30-32 ounce bag
tator tots or tator rounds, thawed
**for a quick thaw, place on baking sheet and cook in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
1
pound
ground turkey or beef

T
butter or margarine
1
medium
onion, chopped
1
green pepper, choppped
1
can
cream of mushroom soup
1
can
milk

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Saute ground turkey or beef. Drain off any grease. Put meat into bowl and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and saute onions and green pepper. Stir and cook until soft.
Add meat back into the pan with onions and green pepper. Stir in soup and milk. Turn up heat and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Arrange half of the tator tots on bottom of 2½ quart casserole dish.
Cover with meat and vegetable mixture. Top with remaining tator tots.
Bake for 50-55 minutes.
