This is our most controversial Thanksgiving side dish.

  1. Our family is split right down the middle. They either love it, or hate it.
  2. Most of those who hate it admit to never trying it.
  3. The fact that there is mayonnaise in it pretty much kills it for some.

My son Isaac thinks we should remove the mayo and maybe replace it with cool whip! But the mayo is important to the taste.

Let me say this. Those who love it, LOVE IT.

So, it still shows up on our Thanksgiving table every year.

Stir together the jello, marshmallows and boiling water until marshmallows are melted.

Allow to cool for 15 to 20 minutes.

Stir in remaining ingredients until well mixed.

Pour into serving dish. Cover and refrigerate until set.

My husband says to say that it is a very important leftover.

There is someone in your family who will love this!
