I could never say no to an apple tart!
Here’s a fast and easy way to make them so that you can eat them hot out of the oven!
Thaw a sheet of puff pastry until soft enough to roll out. Use a rolling pin on a floured surface until just a little larger than your muffin tin.
Press another tin on top and press down creating indentations. OR press with a small cup.


Use any canned filling or sweetened fruit to fill the cups.



Use a pizza cutter to slice the puff pastry as shown.

Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with crystalized sugar.
Throw them in to bake!

Fast & Dirty Apple Tarts

Equipment
- metal muffin tin
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- Baking spray
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1 egg
- Turbinado sugar **Or any sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Use a rolling pin to roll out puff pastry until just slightly larger than muffin tin.
- Spray each cup with cooking spray.Place second muffin tin on top and press down, forming indentations. Remove tin. **If you don't have a tin just use a small tumbler
- Place a spoonful of pie filling into each cup, about ⅓ cup.
- Use a pizza cutter on top of the tin to cut into squares.Bring each corner of the dough into the center and twist & pinch together to seal.
- Whisk the egg in a small bowl with 2 tsp water. Brush each tart and sprinkle with the sugar.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on a rack for 15 minutes. Use a table knife around the edges and lift out.
