This is such a fast and easy summer dessert. It’s perfect for any summer gathering and always disappears fast.
Spread a little cool whip on the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan. This will keep the ice cream sandwiches from sticking to the pan and makes it much easier to serve.
Repeat the layers once again.
Cover with cling wrap and freeze for a couple of hours before serving.
Ice Cream Cake

Ingredients
- 21 ice cream sandwiches
- 16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
- chocolate syrup
- M&M candies
Instructions
- Spread 1 cup of whipped topping across the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
- Cut one ice cream sandwich in half. Cover whipped topping with 10½ of the sandwiches.
- Cover with half of the remaining whipped topping.
- Drizzle with chocolate sauce. Sprinkle with M&Ms.
- Cover with another layer of ice cream sandwiches, whipped topping, chocolate syrup and M&Ms.
- Cover lightly with cling wrap and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
