When I was a kid my family camped a lot. My mom used to make this in a Dutch oven and “baked it” by sitting it on hot coals and placing more on top.

Camping by Swan Lake in the woods and smelling this bake is a wonderful core memory for me.

This is a sorta-kinda dump cake and is so easy to make. It’s worth making just to have the smell fill your house.

Dump a cake mix in a mixing bowl (white or yellow) and add a little cinnamon. Next add eggs, Greek yogurt and a little oil.

Stir until just mixed.

Open one can of apple pie filling and spoon onto cake.

Mix together flour, oats, brown sugar and butter. Sprinkle evenly on top of the apples.

Bake it up and then glaze.

Now EAT.

ENJOY!!!
